Consider buying cheap paint brushes instead of expensive ones.
One thing that gets really annoying is cleaning paint or stain off brushes. Over the years, I’ve noticed it takes a large amount of nasty solvents to clean brushes and I really don’t like sending all that filth down the drain. The fumes are also very unpleasant.
These days, we only buy chip brushes and dispose of them in a more environmentally friendly manner. This way, our skin and lungs aren’t exposed to the harmful chemicals of cleaning solvents.
Are cheaper brushes the absolute best at applying paint and stain? Not really. But, in my opinion, the benefits of healthier skin, lungs and ground water outweigh the negatives.
